Neeko Paluzzi - The Little Prince

Presented by:

City of Ottawa: Public Art Program

Opening: Thursday, March 26, 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
Artist talk and tour: Sunday, April 19, 2 pm

The Little Prince is an installation that allows the viewer to visit seven fictive planets through a classic View-Master. Drawing upon a recent experience when the artist slept in his childhood bed, the photographs reference Le Petit Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, which features a boy exploring the universe. Initially, the artist felt nostalgic for his childhood bed, but slowly thoughts entered his mind about failing to become who he wanted to be.
